31 Tasting Notes
So delicious, this is like a healthy! blueberry dessert in a cup. Adding a bit of milk makes it super rich and creamy. Also, this has got to be my favourite iced tea at the moment. With a bit of rock sugar = tastes like heaven!! Perfect score for me, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with this lovely tea!
Mmm.. This tea is quite delicious. Caramel, pumpkin, and a sweet hint of cinnamon. Yes, it is very good, but would I consider it a chai? No.. not really. It is very light and almost has a maple taste to it. The cinnamon is present, but not very bold and this tea is not very spicy at all. However, it is still a delicious autumn-inspired tea so I am happy!

Wow. The first sip I took of this was like a caffeine burst in my mouth.
If you like a bold, dark tea that nearly resembles coffee, then you’ll love this one.
It has a great dark chocolately, nutty, raspberry taste. It really does remind me of coffee a lot, but doesn’t have the bad side effects of it. It provides a great burst of energy without that awful crash in the end!
Flavors: Almond, Coffee, Dark Bittersweet, Raspberry

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have so many black teas, chais, and I didn’t need another green. I have a chai rooibos that I LOVE. Rooibos is proving to be one of my favourite types of tea. However, I’ve only had strong fruity or chai flavours of rooibos so far, and I’ve wanted one that has that true woodsy, earthy taste with a subtle sweetness to it.
Jessie’s tea is just EXACTLY that! It has that great woodsy, rooibos flavour, but isn’t too overpowering from the delicious light coconut in the background. Also, I don’t find the lavender to be bad at all. I’ve never drank a lavender tea and I don’t notice anything bad about it in this one!
Beware, it is very very relaxing. The description on the website refers to it as “it’s like having your own personal spa.” They were not over exaggerating! :)
(This tea is great for me as I’m a working college student and often have trouble unwinding at night… So far it has helped a lot! So college students out there, I definitely recommend this to you… and to anyone else who is a rooibos fan!)
Flavors: Coconut, Floral, Vanilla, Wood
Preparation
I got this tea for one purpose, and that was to mix it with different types of tea to give them a spicy chai boost. So far, I am very very pleased!
I have mixed this so far with my six summits oolong, and glitter and gold (from davidstea).
This tea with Six Summits Oolong makes a wonderful chai oolong blend. I love getting the health benefits of both teas and getting an amazing taste at the same time! It enhanced Glitter and Gold, giving it the extra boost that I needed to enjoy it!
Overall, this tea is great for blending! I have yet to try it on its own, but I think I’ll like it.
Flavors: Cinnamon
Recently got this as a sample from my online order. Well, I don’t know. The tea is beautiful, and it smells lovely. But I didn’t get much taste from this. It’s listed as a “chai” on the DAVIDsTEA website, but this really has no spice to it, in my opinion. I definitely wouldn’t consider it a chai. I suppose people who aren’t huge fans of spice would enjoy it though.
Another thing that turned me off was the list of ingredients… definitely not a healthy tea, either!
EDIT: I steeped the rest of my sample with some of my Organic Pure Chai, and wow… it tastes divine as I’m sipping on it right now! Perhaps before I may have just not steeped it long enough, or maybe the extra pure chai gave it the boost I needed. Either way, I suppose I’ll up the rating a bit :)
