Am not very experienced with pu erh but I went for this on basis of cheap price and good reviews. Not disappointed, it isn’t as woody or smoky as some pu erhs with an almost black cherry taste to it. Nice.

Tea bags from local DJ. Not a bad drink but like a lot of assam tea I’ve had doesn’t stand up to milk well and isn’t quite nice enough to drink black. A good standby for when I run out of Yorkshire tea.

Leaves are beautiful before infusion and remain a nice bright green. Liquor has a lovely golden colour. Quite a light flavoured oolong. Flavours came through stronger on second infusion. Nice with a slice of malt loaf.

Strong smell of caramel immediately on pouring so you know you’re in for a treat. A lovely, naturally sweet black tea with a good depth of flavour. Described as a breakfast tea on their web site but this would be good for an afternoon pick-up as well

Possible my fave from the Jing White and Yellow tea taster set. Delicious, light flavours with a melony sweetness. Lovely.

A wonderful green tea, without the heaviness of a long jing. Got a nice couple of steeps in a gaiwan. Sweet, earthy taste.

A great breakfast tea – strong enough to hold its own with milk or without. Not overly bitter, but a fresh, bright morning flavour and a grand way to start the day or pick yourself up mid-morning.

One of my absolute favourite teas. Great for introducing friends to the delights of tea because the flavours are so clear. First a lovely orangey citrus followed by a mellow sweet honey taste. A gorgeous amber colour. Highly recommended.

First time I let it steep too long and it was quite a bitter and unpleasant taste. Second time I got it closer and it was pleasant enough but the real experience for this tea is watching it open. Definitely a case for a glass teapot. It is a very calming and beautiful tea to brew but not quite matched by the flavour.
