7 Tasting Notes
The clover and cinnamon was very strong. This would be a nice tea from coming inside after a winter day. It reminds me of christmas. Tea was a little weak for my likeing and not much caffeine and really all you can smell and taste is the clover and cinnamon but fortunatly I like those smells and flavors. Spoon full of sugar drop of milk will help this tea go down. all in all ok
Preparation
Had this for the first time today on a mission to find the perfect earl grey. pretty good cup of tea, with a good helping of bergamot. The aroma when opened up is quite pleasant and makes me really crave a cup. I dont think its my all time favorite earl grey but a pretty darn good one.
Preparation
This is the tea that started my infatuation with tea in the first place and earl grey in general. I have recently begun to try and taste as many different variations of earl grey. But Bigelow earl grey has just the right amount bergamot oil. I steep it for a little bit longer than the recomended time becasue its so much more flavorful, if understeeped it tastes to much like water with a hint citrus but around a 5 min steep gives it the perfect taste. Strong and somewhat bitter but thats what I love about it. Love this earl grey with a bit of milk and honey or most of the time just straight.
Preparation
Had my first cup of this after having my earl grey for the morning. My mom bought it who is normally a coffee drinker so i figured it would be a coffe like strong black tea. I usually love a some what bitter tea. But the aftertaste of this one wasnt my favorite. I did get a slight taste of the cherry it claims to have which isnt bad but only after i added a splash of milk and honey did i get the presence of a cherry undertone. All in all not a horrible black tea if your in need of a day starter or pick me up. But the flavor just didnt quite do it for me. and the aftertaste leaves me wanting another cup of something else to cleanse my palate.
