Bird and blend’s sales are getting worse… I was trying to check out with US dollars and it just converts everything back to the non-sale prices… hmm. Maybe I am just too early and they only let UK people in during the early hours? But then there is also $20 shipping, so. They even had the rice oolong I didn’t think they would ever bring back. meh.
To be clear, B&B actually gave me the message “Adjusting the tea prices for your shipping location” when I went to check out. So I’m a little salty about that. I have been a fan of B&B since day one, but it looks like they are catering to the UK at this point. It’s a shame. Especially as it seems they have opened quite a few more stores in the UK recently, which is a good indication that they are doing pretty well for themselves…
I don’t know what customs policy is between US and UK; but it could be just customs duty that are extra for exporting goods from UK. Maybe it’s not just their fault.
Haven’t ordered from them either, as sadly, I have to pay for customs duties as they aren’t in the EU anymore and honestly, I have probably enough flavoured teas right now as well.
