Zhena's Gypsy Tea

My favorite tea!!! Absolute perfection.

The aroma is a bit strange; the coconut seems a bit buried or masked by other flavors. Still, makes a great cold chai with some agave and milk – especially as an alternative to Zhena’s Fireside Chai.

Very lemony and refreshing. Nice wake-up morning tea.

This has the strangest smell. The bergamot and raspberry combine into an odd bouquet when you sniff it, but it extremely tasty in the cup.

Not my absolute favorite from Zhena’s, but one I buy regularly. Strong raspberry and black tea flavor. Worth a taste.

Love this chilled with 3/4 teaspoon of agave syrup and a bit of cold milk… heaven!
My favorite Chai..

This is good! Lots of mint with a hint of lemon/lime. Rum flavor is really light but adds a little extra something to this tea.

Finally used this whole tin up! Not terrible, but I definitely won’t repurchase (in fact, I don’t plan on buying any more Zhena’s teas… they’ve all been disappointing, unfortunately).

Nothing much to say about this one… it tasted especially blah today for some reason. Only a couple of bags left, and I’m not sad about that!

Pulled this one out for today’s morning tea… it’s been a while. Only two bags left, and I think I’m going to let this one go for good after I finish up my current tin. I hate to say it, but none of the Zhena’s blends I’ve tried (4-5 total) have been re-purchase-worthy. As a whole, I’m really not impressed with them.

Even though I like this tea, I keep looking for the raspberry note to stand out more and I can never quite taste it. Still a good earl grey blend as is, but I don’t know if I’ll buy more when I run out this time.

I think I’m on my third tin of this tea at this point. This was the very first Zhena’s blend I tried and still my favourite! I wish the bags were a little fuller, but the skimpy teabags are pretty typical for American-made tea.

Using 2 bags for my 12 oz mug, gives me strong enough tea for milk and sugar. 6 min steep, flavor is wonderful, not bitter. Lovely aroma to wake up with.

First experience with this one. I like. And I love the canister.

This is one of my favorites. I love adding a dollop of honey for the perfect sweetness.
