Oh this is delicious. This is absolutely what I needed, this afternoon.
Sushi lunch with the standard sushi-house green tea was tasty, but this…this hits the spot.
Naturally :-) Jade Oolong by The Northern Lights Tea Company. I actually shocked myself by wanting something green tea-ish and that’s the closest thing I have other than Moroccan Mint. But mint + sushi? No thanks
Mint plus sushi does sound weird. Oolong could be tasty though!
Haha, I am not a forensic document examiner. For that matter, nor do I have the skills for handwriting analysis. I simply enjoy the tactile, analog experience of handwriting, as well as the engineering of fountain pens.
As I steep several gaiwans to fill a mug, I take a moment to sample a tiny cupful from each steeping, enjoying the uniqueness before they are all put together in a more unique mixture.
Decided to attempt to take this into the office to drink. With a Finum single cup brew basket and a mug, I can at least sketch a bit of a parody of gong fu brewing. We shall see, what the coworkers reaction to the aroma will be…
Haha I am eating sushi as I read this note. It must have been a sushi kind of day.
Must have been! Having tea with that?

Ok, weird question, but I see that you are into fountain pens, inks, and paper. Do you happen to be a forensic document examiner?

My mom is a forensic document examiner and she restores and collects Sheaffer pens and typewriters. That’s where that weird question came from :)
Very cool! I just finished restoring a Sheaffer Balance Slender, myself, though I am quite the amateur at it.
