Morning cup of tea. How beatiful are those Viropa teas. I wish they were more available for me… though a holiday in Südtirol sounds good as well.
They make great fruit teas. The teas aren’t overpowered with hibiscus/rosehip so they aren’t super tart, the flavours on the box are genuine and real, nothing artificial; and if it contains stevia (like this one), it is very tamed and not ruining whole experience.
This one was raspberry with lemon and it was like biting real raspberry with refreshing lemon aftertaste. I can imagine drinking it iced in summer and I would seek more if, as I wrote in first paragraph, it would be more available to me.
Preparation
How am I able to describe this tea, as it is full of expected flavours — tart/sweet pomegranate flavour, slightly into grenadine (which I never had), but Monk’s blend tea has this flavour (and I had it) and this is very similar flavour, just minus black tea base and vanilla.
Quite straightforward, but good one. No unexpected surprises from hibiscus, though it was slightly tart — but the fruit is as well.
This brand keeps surprising me.
Preparation
One of the most blackberry genuine flavour I had. Okay, to be honest I didn’t had much blackberry flavoured teas before.
The blackberry is real and genuine, enjoyable, sourness, hibiscus is in but very tamed. No heartburn, which is a unexpected bonus.
Now for real, it is great thirst quencher, with genuine flavour of blackberries. It’s not tart as some fruit teas can get. Sadly not much of cinnamon nor orange peel in the flavour. Especially the first one would be lovely.
Preparation
A paperbag from huge bags. But… very aromatic when smelled that classic paper bag full of tea.
I don’t know…apparently it is black tea with flavours and aromas – but couldn’t find a proper ingredients list.
Tea itself after 4 minutes steep is very light in taste, yet present. Maybe even the base is bit citrusy.
The flavour – orange and tangarine is very juicy! Juicy, but not artificial at all, fresh, certainly both citrus fruits are there. Bit sour, which is something I enjoy – but then tangerine fresh and sweet notes appear.
I am honestly very surprised with this tea, and it is flavoured black tea how I like it – base tea present and fresh and juicy taste of the flavours.
Flavors: Citrusy, Orange, Pleasantly Sour
