drank Chamomile Flower by Stir Tea

I tasted this tea last week in my tea culture class, and I must admit it was truly a treat, because it came with great taste and beauty. The flower was in a ball in the tea pot and as the mins went by it blossomed. The looks were not the only thing that was truly magical about this tea blend, but the flavor that came with it as well. The tea was smooth and elegant and the flavors were all refined to the most perfect degree that it made the entire experience just truly fantastic.

drank Rooibos Herbal Chai by Stir Tea
6 tasting notes

An excellent tea for relaxation and health, one can detect almost all of the ingredients at different temperatures (as the cup cools down). The cardamom was an unexpected yet welcome taste for me. I would analogize this tea to a dessert, with more traditional teas being an entreé (pu-erh) or an appetizer (white teas). Highly recommend keeping some in the cupboard for a little “vacation” once in a while.
Edit— This tea is particularly indulgent with cows milk or rice milk. Not a very good compliment to a meal, it’s better enjoyed alone or for dessert because of the strong sweetness. I’ve yet to try many Rooibos but this one is exceptional.

drank Elegant Grey by Stir Tea

Having previously shunned Stir Tea after some incredibly disappointing experiences with their blends, I was wary of dropping $16 for a bag of their earl grey. If it wasn’t for a good tea fiend friend of mine raving about it, I wouldn’t have given it a second look.

Needless to say I have been drinking this by the gallon! The aroma is a deliciously strong bergamot and orange, with the flavour coming through in the cup just as powerful. Great with milk or without, I think I’ve found a back-up for when my precious Earl Grey Excelsior is out of stock!

drank Rose Earl Grey by Stir Tea

The rose completely overpowered the bergamot – I couldn’t tell I was drinking a rose earl grey, it simply tasted like a rose flavoured black tea. Very dissappointing, but I’d recommend it if you are after a yummy rose tea!
