5 Tasting Notes
I tasted this tea last week in my tea culture class, and I must admit it was truly a treat, because it came with great taste and beauty. The flower was in a ball in the tea pot and as the mins went by it blossomed. The looks were not the only thing that was truly magical about this tea blend, but the flavor that came with it as well. The tea was smooth and elegant and the flavors were all refined to the most perfect degree that it made the entire experience just truly fantastic.
Flavors: Flowers, Smooth
Preparation
The Professor took out the bag of tea which looked like a dried up green ball, but then once she added in the hot water the flower slowly but surely started to react with the water, and eventually it blossomed into something so beautiful and so tasty. The tea itself was smooth and sweet there was literally no need to add other outside components to this tea, because it had already complimented itself.
Flavors: Cherry Blossom, Floral, Flowers, Freshly Cut Grass, Smooth, Sweet
Preparation
I was under the impression that I have already tried black tea, but when we tried this in class it was far darker and far more bitter. I rather enjoyed the flavor due to the fact that I have always tasted tradition black tea in the form of sweet tea, so this was a culture for me.
Flavors: Artificial, Bamboo, Bitter, Dark Bittersweet
Preparation
This tea was definitely the type of tea that you did not forget, because of its strong taste and flavors. I did not imagine that after the hot water sitting on the tea for a few seconds would still make it strong, and the first round of it going around the class was indeed a wake up call.
Flavors: Bitter, Burnt Food, Dark Bittersweet, Meat, Salty
Preparation
I had the pleasure of tasting this tea last Friday, and I must say that the color was bright and vibrant. The colors represent that of the sun, because it was shiny and gold and to be able to see it in the dark room is truly impressive. The flavor was strong and nutty, and towards the end of the gulp you can get a hint of ginger which was interesting and fascinating. I truly did enjoy this tea and I would suggest this very tea to any of my friends.
Flavors: Almond, Bark, Floral, Ginger
