9 Tasting Notes
I was looking for something that would taste a little like Irish breakfast tea. it has a dense smooth flavor with hints of malt. taste good with a dash of honey. its is a good tea warm up in the morning. if zen tea ever decides to produce an Irish breakfast blend it should include this tea.
Preparation
Prior to this I have only have tried bagged chamomile and I’ve heard from other people that lose version taste different. So I took my first sip expecting it to be different and was delighted to find it to taste like chamomile I knew. Of course it taste different but there are many hints of sameness. It has a plain but pleasant taste that just make me want to relax. In a way it is kinda boring but in a good way. It is a cup of tea you drink when everything is going to fast. The taste reminds you to take a breath and think about simplicity.
Note: do not try to steep in a mesh ball; it is a pain to clean out.
Preparation
The first thing that I notice was the lovely blue color that it steeped to. The taste was not that lovely. It was just too much blueberry with a slight sour taste. Maybe it would be good if mixed with black tea but not by its self.
Preparation
I tried many mint teas in the past, I per the herbal ones rather then the ones with black or green tea.
like the title suggest it is refreshing, it smell and taste refresh the mind. I hate it when people compare mint tea to gum. What do you expect? both mint tea and gum are flavored with mint. I regress, maybe mint tea is not for them
Preparation
I have been looking for the perfect Chai for a while. this ones good but it need more spice or something. I have kinda bad habit of letting my tea steep for like 10 minutes thinking it will taste stronger, which it does. I dont really mind the bitter taste of over steeping. a dash of milk and spoon full of honey hid any bitterness.
