807 Tasting Notes
I agree with the other two posted on this. I do also feel it is a bit too light on the peach but yet what peach that is there is very good! The green base is wonderful. My daughter tried it and liked it and said it was very refreshing so thats not bad – I like for her to have green tea every day so this is one I know she will drink. Hubby loved it too.
I got a couple of other flavors I have not yet tried – hopefully they are a bit stronger in flavor. Still this is very nice for what it is.
LOVE this tea! Follow steeping instructions on can – yes JUST a 30 second immersion! Multiply your leaves per ounces you want to drink. Its a delicate tea and needs to be treated as such. I tried over steeping and failed, tried again per instructions and succeed. It is not a POW in your face flavor but the flavor is more than present when you do it the way they suggest. I ADORE this tea. It is cherry cherry and oh so yummy! A new permanent stash favorite!
Preparation
Very nice! REAL coconut shreds in this tea, an excellent white peony tea base that you can really taste behind the flavor components! Re-steeps nicely up to 3 steeps before I had to stop. Could go more perhaps? Milky but not overly creamy, nice balance! Can’t wait to try iced!
Preparation
Enjoying my last sample of this tea. Been feeling as though I am coming down with something again so fighting it off with some good green!
Had to set aside my Jin Jun Mei after steep 3 and have this instead. Will get back to my Jin Jun Mei later as it is still steeping strong.
I love this Sencha. I mean its bagged yes but delicious. Nutty, vegetal, buttery, yum. I am sure it will help fight off this little bug pestering me!
Preparation
I am working on a review of this tea but its slow going as I am not feeling well today. I am wondering however if anyone else has noticed how badly this tea stains your tea cup and teeth! LOL it is an absolutely wonderful tea – one of my favorites now, but dang it stains!
Yeah BIG yikes – it spotted the inside of two of my tea cups in this leopard print pattern really dark with a light overall stain. Its really bizarre! LOL Im thinking its time to do a teeth whitening!
Weird. I do also think that I’ll have to get back to teeth-whitening soon though, with all this tea I’m drinking…
Funny! Sounds like you might have calcium in your water at home. That is often the cause of “staining” with black tea (though it definitely comes off with a sponge or toothbrush!). I wonder if you noticed it more with this tea because it’s got so much downy fuzz all over?
I got two of these (placed two separate orders) when they were offered FREE with purchase of one loose leaf tea canister! I got the bird song one with cucumber mint and a tree one with blueberry merlot. I am so happy to have them. I will probably gift one or keep the extra around for when my daughter or husband desires to share in some tea with me which is happening more often these days! Yay!
I really love the bird song one and glad I grabbed it up since it seems to have been the most popular choice when they offered this special!
Pros and Cons: Love the lid to keep steam in while steeping. Perfectly fitting mesh strainer and lid fits perfectly on top. Strainer is not as fine of mesh as it could be so some tiny particles get through leaving grainy texture at bottom of cup but it will be excellent with larger leaf teas! Double walled keeps tea warm long enough but not THAT long, and is too hot to hold when water is first poured. Although most people like to let tea cool for a minute or two before drinking so this should not be an issue for most.
Seems durable but too soon to tell.
Wonderful design – very pretty!
Would I BUY one? Yes if I had the extra money sure I like the convenience of being able to just pour the boiling water over the strainer, cover, and steep, not having to get back up to go to the tea kettle! I also like not having to clean the tea kettle after a steep! However knowing me, “extra” money would go to tea instead. I am really happy I was able to splurge and get these while they were free with tea purchase!!
This is pretty good. I am looking forward to the second steep to see if the hibiscus plays down a bit. I don’t mind hibiscus as much as a lot of people here do. I kind of like its tart goodness but in this cup I really want the merlot to come out more. The sage makes a nice presence both in aroma AND in taste.
You get sage then blueberry but then the hibiscus comes in and wipes it all out – its just a little too much hibiscus.
Will update once I do my re-steep.
Preparation
I have this in the loose tea form. Nice canisters by the way. A very good tea. Not strong, but noticeable flavors. As natural of a cucumber as one can get since a cucumber flavor can not be extracted naturally.
Slight blueberry in aftertaste is nice.
Mint is most predominant but not too over powering.
I will enjoy this during the summer months.
NOTE ADDED:
So I guess my info is way outdated! I did some research after reading that they do claim to use natural cucumber flavors. This is why I should do a refresher course in my aromatherapy training! They now CAN in fact do a cucumber extract! I am reading up more on this as back when I did my training this could not be done. Strange. UNLESS “back then” I was misinformed.

It’s odd how fast our technology grows. I remember commercials that said don’t eat eggs and now they are the perfect protein. Seems like things change radically in such a short time.
Every time I have this tea I think “this is a dependable tea” and it is. I have to raise the rating now for that. I have been tempted to many times and have stated in the past that I just could not taste the oolong in the tea but I think I am getting more experienced and appreciative of quality tea. I have said before that this tea would only taste like water without the coconut but now I feel differently. I can admit I was wrong. It is still not a punch in the face tea but you know I have had some that are and the punch was not that wonderful. This tea is one I find that I go to for real comfort. Sometimes that is necessary. Like an old pair of shoes that you know will be comfy all day shopping in or your best friends shoulder. Nothing wrong with that! Its simple, basic, and soothing with great flavor BOTH in the coconut AND the oolong!
these look nice for the warmer weather!
I also got one of these in their OUTLET section to brew them in:

I really like it! Perfect size to cold brew AND take out of fridge for on the go sipping!
oh! very cute. :) Is it plastic or glass?
Plastic :)
And the thing on the top slides so you can easily open and close it to drink out of. :)
