of course I had to get another Prince tribute tea! last year? the year before? The When Doves Cry tea was absolutely the most amazing thing. I cold-brewed this and mainly taste the lemon and mint, not really getting the peach. I’m going to make this hot and then maybe put some ice in it to see if that helps.

Today I told myself that I really need to drink the tea that I already own, instead of buying more? it’s because it’s hot and terrible and I just stay in the house reading about cat food and somehow end up buying tea? ugh. it needs to stop.

Spirit Tea currently has a Ruby 18 on their site that is just called Ruby 18, I made the Earthchild Eighteen page because as a person who catalogues books at a library, the name difference bothered me enough to make sure that there were different pages for the different names. the box this tea came in also lacks the cool region/producer/harvest info that is on the website (well, it does have the harvest date).

anyway, I love this Ruby 18, even though it’s just been hanging out for the past year…forgotten.

yeah, okay, so this is my favourite blend so far. I’ll be trying it as a latte later…..while I start figuring out the snacks for my niece and nephew’s Christmas things. Ugh. Christmas. wrapping. presents.

I am in love with this chai. I love everything about it, but a special shout out to the smokiness of it. I was freezing when I made it, so this was just perfect for snuggling up with my cat and starting a new knitting project.

I was so excited when I scratched off the sticker for this tea, and when I opened it, BOOM coconut. so, while I did pick out the larger pieces of coconut (I’m not patient enough to get the smaller pieces) and tried this tea, it wasn’t something that I’d drink again. but I would like to try more banana-y teas in the future.

Eh. I love genmaicha and flan, but I hate coconut so much. so, I did the thing that my nephew does and picked out the larger pieces of coconut :-/ this tea definitely wasn’t bad, just not a favourite because coconut.

will have to come back, I’d like to re-try this.

AHH! Yes, okay, so I’m not a fan of rooibos really. BUT. THIS. TEA. I wasn’t really expecting much of a ‘soda-y’ flavour, but this had one?? it reminded me a little of a cream soda (which is my favourite kind of soda!) but with the addition of honey and cranberry/citrus. so good! I wish I saved some for a cold brew, but was distracted. oh well.
