21 Tasting Notes
I was almost put off buying this tea due to the price, but finding out that you can get 5 steeps per brew makes it cost effective. Lemony, peppery and the aniseed highlight shines. Fantastic hot and will try chilled with lemon & lime to test it effectiveness as a possible iced choice even though it seems to be best hot. Not as universally admired as Bondi & Summer Cloud, but may be one of those creeper brews that grows on you until you realise its a favourite.
Preparation
Oh My Goodness!!!! Coconut and White Chocolate. I initially ummed and Ahhed about the $22 price tag, but when i had a sample instore i purchased it straight away. its my “treat myself” tea its so smooth and delicious. Will be buying more for sure. Again about the price $22 is a lot in comparison to other T2 teas & tea in general, but i will go out shopping and pay $5 for a latte so $1 per pot is reasonable.
On my 1st & 2nd steep i was ready to write this off as way too sweet, but with the addition of only a few pieces of “Just Ginger” it cut right through the previously cloying sweetness without overpowering and turning it into a ginger fruit variation.
Preparation
Hot or iced this is one tea that is perfect either way. It also holds up well to blending. The grapefruit does shine through as does the lemongrass. The little sample box had me running back for the larger packet. Is my number 2 pick after my beloved Arctic Fire.
