This is a nice offering from Harney and I definitely like this style of darker oolong. I brewed this western style for about 3 minutes using nearly boiling water.
Lots of stone fruit here, a very soft tea with a bit of minerality… is it good? yes. Is it exceptional? not to me. After reading the description on their website I think I ’d like the fanciest formosa oolong better because this would be good with some charcoal aroma!

This is good to know. I’ve got a wish list at Harney and I may have to rethink it now. I will say that oolongs are becoming a fast favorite tea for me.
Oh sure twist my arm with a good deal. ;) I’ll have to see…seeing as I did get a large order of teas the other day. Might have to wait a little.
Florence, Organic Assam, Tower of London and LOTS of $4 sample sizes… my favorite thing from them is Paris and I am also fond of the White Christmas.

you can get the sample size for $4 if you just want to try it…
I may have to try this one too, that free shipping option is too good to pass up.

I would be tempted but am still trying to work my way through the last Harney order… :)
What was in your last order? (Not like I need anymore ideas…but I do)

Yum!! I like Tower of London and Paris too! I’ll have to look into the $4 sample thing.

No twisting intended! :)
No, no twist away!
Ok, if you say so.
