This is a great daily driver. The oolong has a nice earthy taste and it is balanced with the slightly sweet “sticky rice” leaves. The rice leaves are a Chinese herb called Nuo Mi Xiang. They lend a smooth creaminess to the tea. It has great balance. It’s quite flavorful without being overpowering.
Beautiful tea leaves that start off as tight bundles and open up fully as steeped. It is marked as “low caffeine” but this tea does have a little bit of zip to it. Perhaps because I steep it for 3 or 4 cups.
