69 Tasting Notes
I picked some of this up when the Halloween collection came out with the Sorcer’s set. The set comes with a clear mug with ghosts on it, a skinny tin of this tea, and a black perfect spoon. I like this one iced. The bright blue colour it steeps at is beautiful and I actually prefer the taste of the tea without the colour changing lemon juice added. Is it my absolute favourite of all time? No. Will I be buying tons to keep on hand? No. It’s a nice fruity once in a while kind of tea to me.
Preparation
I bought a small amount of this to try as a sleepy time tea. I tried it hot first and was so grossed out I couldn’t finish the cup. The mint and valerian root are extremely overpowering. I couldn’t taste anything else. I tried this one iced with the same unfortunate results. I just don’t think I like valerian root. I won’t be buying this one again.
Flavors: Mint

I had a sample of this from the summer SAS that I just got around to trying. I had just enough to make one cup of iced tea. I thought this one was okay. Not bad but not my favourite. I definitely don’t need to buy any more though. It tasted of a light fruity flavour somewhat resembling apricots. I couldn’t really pick out a dominant taste.
Flavors: Apricot, Fruity
Preparation
I had a full tin of this from when the Chai Collection was out that I forgot about. Once I tasted this again, I was in love. It’s so so so good. I wish I had bought more. It has a rich chocolatey taste with background notes of graham cracker. I found myself reaching for this one constantly. I hope it comes back because I will be buying more to fill my now empty tin.
Flavors: Chocolate, Graham, Graham Cracker
Preparation
I am generally a big fan of strawberry teas so I picked up 50 g of this to try from my local Teavana before it closed. I’m glad I only got 50 g because I wasn’t a big fan. I found this tea to be too tart. All I really tasted was tartness. There wasn’t much of a strawberry or any other flavour. I wouldn’t repurchase this one.
Flavors: Tart
Preparation
I had 50 g of this tea to get through from the SAS. I am glad it’s now gone because I did not like this one. I tried it iced first and found it to be overwhelmingly sour with a general citrus taste that I couldn’t tell where it was coming from. The only way I could choke this down was diluted as a tea pop. I will not be buying this one again.
Flavors: Citrus, Citrus Fruits, Citrusy, Sour, Tart
Preparation
I bought a skinny tin and a tea door of this one at the summer SAS and just now got around to trying it. I’m sad I didn’t try this one earlier as I really like it. This tea has a nice smooth creamy vanilla flavour with a nice hint of citrus. It’s a light flavour. The leaves smell divine both dry and while steeping. If this comes back, I would definitely consider purchasing more. In the meantime, I will enjoy the 50 ish grams I have.
Flavors: Bergamot, Citrus, Creamy, Smooth, Vanilla
Preparation
The little glitter stars are super cute in this tea. I tend to like chai teas so I thought I’d try this one. It’s okay. Just okay. Nothing special. I could mostly taste cloves and cinnamon. The black tea faded into the background. Also, surprisingly for a tea with this many spices in it, it was pretty weak as far as I’m concerned. I won’t be repurchasing this one, but it was fine for me to finish my small tin.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Spices
Preparation
I got 50 g of this tea for free when the Harvest Collection came out. I was excited that there was finally an apple tea I could try (I am allergic to caramel so most apple teas are ones I can’t drink). I didn’t care for this tea at all hot. It was like drinking hot apple juice. Iced, it was somewhat better but tastes like sweet apples without much other flavour. I was hoping the green tea would come through more but it doesn’t at all, in my opinion. So, while I had no issues using up my 50 g, I won’t be buying any more of this.
Flavors: Apple

I got a free 50 g bag of this tea back in the fall. I’ve been wanting to try it for quite some time out of nothing more than morbid curiosity. Needless to say, I wasn’t expecting much. A tea with chocolate and chilli peppers sounded too bizarre to be any good. Boy, was I wrong. This tea has a nice chocolate flavour that is the most prominent and a secondary kick of spice at the end. I really enjoyed this one. I’ll likely pick up some more of this in the future as my 50 g is now all gone.
Flavors: Chocolate, Peppercorn, Spicy
