Very nice tea! The aroma from the chai spices and herbs definitely sets it apart. The taste and aftertaste are equally pleasing. They are subtle and not too overpowering. Great work Twinings!
Flavors: Cardamom, Cloves
Preparation
I liked it but didn’t love it. I generally prefer milder green tea like this but I could tell the leaves weren’t the best quality. It’s a standard green tea you’ll enjoy and that is good to keep in your cupboard. But it’s not the tea for special occasions
Flavors: Grass
Preparation
Great! The aroma and taste are nicely balanced. Rhodiola is a wonder herb and sure does boost energy! For best result, brew at just below boiling so the herb takes full effect.
Flavors: Berry, Fruity, Herbs
Preparation
Wasn’t a huge fan. It left a slight ‘fishy’ or ‘grassy’ aftertaste and becomes really bitter really fast if the teabag is left in a little too long. Of course, this could be personal preference. I often prefer a milder green tea.
Flavors: Fishy, Grass, Grass Seed
Preparation
This is a standard ‘home brew’ sort of tea. Nothing spectacular or interesting but it does what it’s suppose to do. It’s a good go to brew if you’re on the run. I find it’s tricky to always get the desired taste when steeped in a teacup but the flavours are slightly better with 2 or 3 teabags in a kettle.
