165 Tasting Notes
This one is really sweet and tastes alot like maple. I find roibos teas to sometimes be quite woody thats why I was a bit hesitant to try such a sweet flavour with that base. I would definetely classify this as a dessert tea and I find you really have to be in the mood to drink it for it to be good.
I tried this tea quite a while ago in store…If i would have known that there were coffee beans in it, I never would have tried it. I dont drink coffee and dont really want to be drinking it in my tea…thats why I drink tea :p. I definetely wont have it again nor will I be purchasing any.
…Never again! I only got a 10g bag (thank god!) as it smelled really fruity and tropical in the store. This was my first Pu’erh and I am not in any rush to try any more. It was really fishy and like some of the other comments, I also noticed an oily coating on top which was kinda disgusting. I litteraly took one sip and did everything in my power not to spit it out…ewwwww.
Is it just me or does this smell like peaches?! I checked the ingredients twice and…no peaches! I think its the jasmine as I have noticed the same thing with some of their other teas. This one was really light on flavour but after a while, the flavour seemed to dissapear even more…I only got a 10g bag and will not be re-stocking once that runs out.
This was a tea that I bought my mom for Christmas and naturally, I had to try it (I paid for it :p). The first time I tried it, I didnt really like it. I found it a bit too minty but it grew on me. The other day I acctually tried it as a latte with grated chocolate on top and really liked that. I think it would also be good with a bit of crushed candy cane on top ;).
