I stopped by a David’s Tea the other day to pick up a couple of teas for my mom for her birthday. This one appealed to me as it is caffeine free, intended for “glowing” skin and smells like apple pie…all things I knew she would love (she really loved this tea as well as the other one I bought her which was peppermint amour)! Naturally, we both had to try it! When hot, it smells like a warm apple pie or even a hot cup of cider. I was worried that the cinnamon would be too overpowering but it really wasn’t at all. In fact, all of the flavours were quite mild and this resulted in a nice cup of tea. The only complaint I have is that this tea may even be too mild. I would even add cinnamon sticks to this (like with apple cider) to increase the flavour. I can see myself drinking this a lot during the fall as a healthier alternative to apple pies and ciders; the fact that this is supposed to help in the health of hair/skin and to quench thirst is simply a bonus! As I am again using my phone, I can’t rate this tea but would give it an 85.
