Brewed this up with no rinse. It is floral and woody, with a touch of fruit, and a smooth but present bitterness that is not unwelcome. I don’t know, maybe elderflowers? Anyways, this raw pu-erh is one I could see myself revisiting occasionally. Has a greener profile like I am looking for, and don’t have to age it a bunch to make it more interesting.

I think this might be my favorite of the new bunch of teas I purchased. Also has an amaretto liqueur quality to it, with lovely autumn leafy notes emerging especially in the third steep.

I love tea. Mainly Chinese teas, such as Keemuns, Shui Xian oolongs when I can find them, Yunnan golden buds, and delicate spring greens. With so many options, though, I keep trying new teas.
