Day 4 of the DavidsTea herbal advent calendar. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this blend. The leaf has sugar crystals and (admittedly very cute) star-shaped sprinkles. So it’s not surprising that the drink itself turns out pretty sweet. It tastes like hot, sugary, vaguely creamy and tart cranberry juice. I get a general impression of white chocolate but there’s something elusive about it too, like I’m not entirely sure whether that’s what I’m tasting or not. Overall, it’s tasty but too sugary for my preferences.
