3 Tasting Notes
I enjoyed this tea a lot more than I expected too! Generally I find hibiscus a bit offputting, but here it just adds a bit of tartness. Definitely tasted the sweetness from the apple, and some creaminess as well. The spice creeps up on you at the end of a sip, and it’s just delicious and such a FALL flavour.
Preparation
I had this tea after a long evening of trying to (quietly) assemble an Ikea tv stand. It was pretty much perfect. The lavender is the first thing I tasted. I’ve never had lavender tea before, so I was pleasantly surprised. There was almost a candy flavour to it. Nice subtle hints of coconut, and the flavour of the rooibos comes through in the end, a little bitter, but I steeped for a full 7 minutes, so that wasn’t surprising. Very nice, relaxing tea. I picked up a sample size this time, but I will definitely be adding this to my regular collection.
Preparation
Trying this tea for the first time. This was the fall tea I was most excited about, I love maple. Unfortunately I can’t actually taste any of it in the tea. Disappointed. Like others have mentioned, I would have been better off sticking with Oh Canada.
