11 Tasting Notes
I’ve never had a Milk Oolong before but I think I’m hooked! It’s milky, creamy, smooth, ahhhhhhhh love it. I steeped it according to the instructions on the package, then steeped it 2 more times, each time adding an extra minute. It really does smell like rabbit candy!
Preparation
Wow.. I really smell the roasted chestnut flavor! It’s a savory style tea and reminds me of the Adagio artichoke green tea. It’s a little powdery, light to medium flavor, very smooth, and has a pretty light green color to it. For me it tastes more savory than sweet…
Preparation
I love rooibos and I love almond so what could be a better combo??? Steeped according to my sample tin and I don’t think I love it as much as I wanted to. The almond tastes very natural, almost like the skin of the almond was mixed in. It does remind me a little of stale almonds.. maybe I have to stir up the sample more next time i steep to get a more even flavor?
Preparation
I really like this tea! It’s slightly sweet, very smooth, and just awesome. It even smells good to me.
It doesn’t really taste like coffee, but I suppose if you steep 2-3 bags in 1 cup then maybe?
Overall, I love this tea and I can sip on it all day. Never tried adding a sweetener to it, but I’m sure it would taste great. Maybe even iced with a little honey!
Preparation
Wow this is very heavy on the cinnamon! It tastes like Big Red gum to me… which I like..but I’m not sure if I like it as a tea. It’s sweet on its own (a little too sweet for me) but it’s not terrible.
Overall, sweet, very heavy on the cinnamon and tastes like Big Red gum :P
Preparation
Dry tea bag smells like Wrigley’s spearmint gum but without the sweetness.
Once steeped the mint doesn’t smell as strong. I don’t smell the lemongrass but I can smell a little bit of the lemon verbena.
It’s yummy! Minty, green tea-y.. it’s good :)
Preparation
From the dry tea bag I get a creamy, light citrus, vanilla, then chamomile scent.
Once steeped, the chamomile smells stronger to me (yay).
Tastes sweet (but not too sweet), I can taste some honey, chamomile seems pretty strong, and overall everything tastes creamy and smooth without any added milk.
Great night time tea!
Preparation
Dry tea bag smells… well doesn’t smell like much to me! LOL… Maybe a little bit of a dried fruit smell..but it could be a mental thing since I know it’s a black cherry tea…
In the cup it smells very much like the dried strawberries/berry mix from Trader Joes. Fruity but not sweet.
Tastes a little tart to me. Pretty strong flavor at the recommended 5-6 minute steep time. Maybe I’ll drink it iced next time.
