421 Tasting Notes
Drank this last night around 11pm (oddly enough slept like a baby after). Not as chocolaty as I thought it would be with a name like Chocolate Chai. I could smell the cinnamon spice and that was the taste the carried through from first to last drop. It wasn’t bad, but it was also nothing to write home about.
Major citrus aroma coming through as it steeps. The taste is simply WOW. The blood orange is really coming through as is the white tangerine….soooo good (I may be drooling). Honestly I can’t really taste the lemongrass which is shocking since it had such a strong smell prior to the infusion. I’m usually not a fan of citrus teas, but this I like and that is saying something.
Well, I was going to start getting myself together for the day…but then I noticed my Adagio tea order had arrived! Well, I had to try this right away. I love the aroma of the mint as this tea steeps. As others have mentioned there is just that super subtle scent of chocolate…yum! The taste is just wow. Love how the mint flavors stay on my tongue as I’m drinking. So great!
Preparation
Brewing a cup of this to get my day started. The aroma is amazing….I can smell all the berry flavors of the Sweet Fruit Garden with just a hint of the peaches and mint from the Scarlet Cloud. The taste is likewise amazing an even blend of tart and sweet! Just the right balance to wake me up, but still let me feel a bit mellow.
Preparation
I can really taste the sweet in this tea. So much so that I only feel the need to add the slightest bit of sugar. Has a lovely smell while steeping and it is just what I need today (I forgot everything ie lunch and breakfast snack).
