As I am sipping this very bland cup o’ tea, I am seeing the other tasting notes suggesting that perhaps you need two tea bags to get full flavor. Perhaps there simply isn’t enough tea in this tea. I do not taste 20 herbs. I am primarily tasting the rooibos, anise, mint and cinnamon. Perhaps I would like this in the loose leaf tea.
I am very excited because I’m pretty sure my tea order from Verdant teas will be sitting on my front porch when I get home this evening. Yay!
I am a mother, wife and physician who recently discovered my long lost love of tea. I swore off all coffee at the beginning of this year and have been a much happier person ever since. I have a lot to learn about tea, but I am very enthusiastic!
So far, I like black teas, flavored teas and herbals best. I’m currently working on developing my palate for oolongs so that I can better appreciate their subtle complexities. I’d like to start getting to know matchas next.
