108 Tasting Notes
Made this for my travel mug today. It was the perfect pick-me up through my work shift. The smokey flavoring never gets old from sip to sip. The only problem was that i forgot that green tea tends to boost your metabolism a bit. I got hungry for my dinner break way too fast.
Preparation
I learned an important lesson today: don’t brew tea at work. (if you work retail)
Why? You end up leaving the teabag in your travel mug for 20 minutes as you help customers and make your favorite tea taste like crap.
I am finding out more and more everyday that brew times are very important.
Preparation
My boyfriend purchased some of this last week, and finally gave me a few tea bags this evening. Oh man this tea is great.
I am trying to make the effort to brew each tea i have at it’s proper brewing times, and I have found it to be a very pleasant experience. Steeping this for 5 min really brings all of the fruit flavors out. I have a feeling this is going to become one of my morning teas.
Preparation
Went to Harney Soho this morning and tried this tea. It is truly the scotch of teas. Fantastic smokey flavor that doesn’t leave you feeling like you just drank smoked wood. I loved it so much i bought some! This will certainly become a new constant in my tea cabinet.
