7 Tasting Notes
This tisane is warm and comforting. It is an ideal fall beverage. it reminds me of a good mulled apple cider, but without the sweetness. But this tisane is even better with just a spot of honey, to bring out the apple and cinnamon flavor. It’s no surprise that they made a lip balm that smells like this tea. I might even buy it!
Flavors: Apple, Butter, Caramel, Cinnamon, Walnut
This green tea has a wonderful grapefruit scent before brewing. The tea itself only has a mild grapefruit flavor, but it is delightful. I like how the green tea really shines through, and it is quite smooth and fairly delicate. I would recommend this tea to anyone who wants to enjoy a more mildly flavored tea.
Preparation
This matcha is really nice as an iced latte. It reminds me of the old green tea latte that Starbucks used to make back when they carried Honeydew syrup. The powder mixes easily, and is a beautiful bright green color. It is already fairly sweet, so I didn’t need to add any extra sweetener. All is did was add 2 teaspoons of powder to 2 ounces of hot water and whisked. Then I added 4-6 ounces of cold, unsweetened almond milk and ice. It tastes like melon flavored candy with a hint of grassy green matcha. If you like honeydew and green tea together, then you will like this.
Flavors: Candy, Grass, Green, Honeydew, Melon, Sweet
I had really high hopes for this tea because carrot cake is my favorite dissert. This tea does smell and taste just like carrot cake. The only problem is that its flavor is a little too strong and it is a little too sweet. I think that the “whipped cream flavoring” must have some sort of artificial sweetener in it because the tea is fairly sweet, but it has a chemical-y aftertaste… its always a gamble with flavored teas, I guess. I’d say that this tea is decent. Its better if you make it into a latte. You might really like it if you don’t mind the taste artificial sweetener and you like carrot cake.
Flavors: Artificial, Carrot, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cream
Preparation
This tea reminds me a lot of Sleepy Time tea from Celestial Seasonings. It is I nice tea to drink just before bed. I usually don’t like ginger (unless it’s in chai), but the ginger in this tea is pretty mild.
Flavors: Citrus, Floral
Preparation
This is a nice, refreshing, fruity green tea. It doesn’t taste like the cereal, but I think it is better because it has a fresh, natural taste to it. I do not like the “slenderize” labeling, because I think that might confuse consumers into believing that this is like the “skinny teas” that you see all over Instagram. This is much better than that. I drink it for the flavor, and not for the supposed weight-loss benefits.
