Streetshop88 has sold me some incredibly good teas. This is not one of them. While on the plus side this had substantially cleared of fermentation flavor it also had a decided sour note to it. I gave this eight steeps. While the sour note had substantially disappeared by steep eight it had still been strong for the first few steeps. Perhaps in a year of aging it will lose the sour note, I don’t know.

I steeped this eight times in a 170ml teapot with 10g leaf and boiling water. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, and 30 sec.
