10 Tasting Notes
Refreshing and pleasant if not steeped for too long. I’ve tried various times, but about a minute for steeping is optimal for me. It remains light, bringing out the lemongrass. Nicely paired with biscuits or cookies, cancelling out overly sweet flavours.
Flavors: Lemongrass
It is a pleasant chai tea with a caffeine kick. I steeped it for 3 minutes and though I couldn’t taste the coffee beans, a feeling similar to coffee was felt. It was a bit too strong for me, I thought it would be just the taste of coffee for the most part. However, I would recommend this tea or someone avoiding coffee in the morning for the needed boost.
Preparation
Phenomenal! I have been looking for an English breakfast tea as I recently heard someone raving about it. They were not mistaken! I tried a few, but this one by Irresistibles, bought at Metro, was fantastic. It can be taken with milk, sugar, or black. I think with some milk and a bit of brown sugar brings out the best tasting notes in this tea.
Flavors: Tea
Preparation
Fantastic tea. The smell I found slightly off-putting at first but was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it! It tastes completely different from its smell and this is a good thing. One of their best teas. It is a delicious treat with shortbread cookies for the winter holidays.
Flavors: Peppermint
Preparation
A wonderful flavor if taken just black, adding milk just adds to the overall great taste. Without milk or sugar, it may be a bit of an overpowering impression that cancels out the peach with its black tea base. This tea is great taken in any way.
