First three steeps are truly amazing. Lingering umami taste. Thick and brothy. Buttery sweet corn, with a hint of creamy milk. Fourth and fifth steeps remind me of the sweetness that comes with that of Long Jing. A delectable tea!

First and second steeping are sweet, with a somewhat prominent umami taste. Delightful. Third to fifth steeping begin to lack the umami and reveal a subtle bitterness. Great while it lasts.

Medium to thick-bodied. Peppery with sweet, floral end-notes. Very subtle in its flavor and lacks the milky creaminess found in the Fuding-Fujian variant.

Savory and brothy. Maintains its umami taste through the first 3 steeps, with the last 2 steeps tasting more fresh and mineral-y rather than savory. No bitterness whatsoever! Absolutely delicious!

So creamy with notes of chocolate. No hint of bitterness. For the price, absolutely delicious.
