16 Tasting Notes
I’m not giving this a score as yet because I think my score will be artificially deflated. I have never tried Genmaicha before. I’m not sure if it’s my thing. It reminds me of that horrible malt-o-meal ricey cereal that my mother made us eat growing up because it was healthier than fun cereals like fuit loops.
I want to give this tea another try at a later date, maybe add a wee bit of sugar. I think if you like genmaicha you’ll love this, as you have some good flavors going on and it tastes like quality tea. I just don’t know if toasted rice in tea is for me.
Preparation
Just brewed my first ever cup of this. At first it’s very rootbeery. Like hot rootbeer…then a cream soda taste comes through. Then more flavors, but I don’t know what they are, good though. Probably not something I’d buy again, but still enjoyable. Another user mentioned butter schnapps in their review, I will be putting some in next time I have this tea. I think it will be a PERFECT addition to it.
Preparation
Got this in a discounted set. Eight ounces of assorted teas for 9 bucks! Woohoo!
This is very fruity, the blueberry definitely comes through, but I loves me some fruity tea so this is a super pleasant treat. Especially since the price was right!
Preparation
I got this as a christmas present from a lovely friend who enjoys tea as as well.
I MUST learn not to sweeten David’s Teas without trying them first. This didn’t need any sugar, and the little bit I put in almost overwhelms it :(
This is REALLY cranberry-ee. Which is good. A good real cranberry taste, not an artificial one. And I was a little worried when I saw cinnamon in the ingredients, I’m not a fan of spicy teas. This is not overwhelming, and balances out the flavors nicely. Yum!
