From white2tea

Lumber Slut was pressed in 2020. The return of our heralded woody blend from 2017.

Blended to favor the dense flavors of petrichor and wood, this style of ripe Puer is focused on unfolding as an experience with notes of camphor and lower umber toned tastes. Will benefit from further aging, but if you’re down for what this tea is offering, we suspect you can drink it straight away without flinching.

Each cake is 200 grams of tea.

Gonna need a cake of this. Brings me back to the stairwell in my aunt’s god-knows-how-old house in Poland. That perpetual wet wood and cigarette smoke smell baked into the walls. I love that fucking smell so much, and it’s here.

Just wish my esophageal spasms would go away. Sometimes tea helps, never hurts, did nothing in this case. Can’t wait to enjoy this on a better day.

Gosh, sorry to hear you have those. Fellow sufferer here. Had to run writhing in pain from the supper table last night and couldn’t eat for about 45 minutes after. I hope you get relief.

It’s such an awful experience, I’m sorry you get them too. Luckily I think I’m figuring out my triggers, so hoping I can better manage them now. But thank you for the commiseration.

Gongfu!

A perfect session steeped up right at golden hour!! Steeped this one up yesterday evening, as I was riding the tea buzz from my very camphor heavy sheng session from earlier in the day. This is the perfect shou to steep up when you want to double down on earthy, woody camphor!! It’s got thick and viscous liquor, and all of those grizzly notes that I love.Maybe even a bit of a molasses kind of undertone to the taste that I loved. Only wish it took a little longer to fully steep out.
