Borrowing from the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, this yellowish-green blend has a pleasant sweet and earthy aroma, with bits of sun-dried turmeric, lemongrass, and white ashwagandha interspersed in the mix. The liquor has invigorating citrusy undertones of lemongrass, the sweet notes of Ashwagandha and licorice which balance the overall cup from start to finish. A subtle spicy kick of black pepper completes the overall experience. A cup that restores and deeply rejuvenates.

Adventaggedon Day 11 – Tea 2/6

Aaaah! So behind on tasting notes tonight – I just don’t know where the evening went.

Anyway, this is not good. It’s very aggressively turmeric and ashwagandha forward, with a pretty assertive kick of ginger too. Definitely too earthy and spicy to be enjoyable for me, and I wasn’t able to finish off the mug. Not sure what I’ll do with the rest of this one…

Another cold-brewed turmeric tisane!

I really do find these quite palatable this way. The earthy turmeric is somehow very refreshing, and the lemongrass is nice here as well. Luckily the licorice is quite mild, though there is a slight sweetness that creeps up at the end of the sip. I could probably do without the black pepper, happily it’s not very strong.

I dig it! I’m so relieved to have found a way to finish off these Vahdam turmeric tisanes, I was really dreading them…

I enjoy turmeric but casually, not like 64082433942 times in one calendar as Vahdam did to all of you last December! Also it’s really a pain for cleaning mugs, steepers, pitchers, etc.
