This tea used to be so good! A solid black tea, not too weak, with bananas!

Now, it is lemons. It is bitter, and it is bad. Milk doesn’t help it. I don’t like this anymore.

If you like lemon tea, though, it might be your thing.

I was just going to order a sample of this – thank you – you saved me a buck :) I just had another decaf and it tasted to me like…fish! Decafs are rough going.

Eww! At this point, the best decaf black I know is Tetley’s. A bagged, tiny-leaf-piece thing, even. Gotta take it with milk though. If you find any good ones, let me know!

A nice mellow Assam tea with delightful toasty notes and a slight sweetness. While it is not as complex as some full caf Assams I’ve had, it is nonetheless very nice. It makes a soothing cup to accompany me to bed. No bitterness. No astringency.

This is my go-to Decaf Assam, and it keeps going out of stock which is thoroughly infuriating. It’s nicely malty, and I keep around for when I want my basic standard cup of tea that won’t distract me from what I’m doing, and won’t leave a cloying taste in my mouth. Takes milk nicely.

Excellent decaffeinated tea (especially with milk and sugar or creamer); strong cup of tea doesn’t taste like you’re missing the caffeine. No bitter aftertaste, nice rounded flavor.

As good as it gets for my taste and I tried Harney Decaf Assam, English Teastore Breakfast Decaf. This one has a full taste, stronger than any other Decaf listed in my tasting and I really like malty feel. The only reason, I do not give it perfect score because I am still looking for the punchier decaf, with a bit of bitterness to it.
