Only tea I got to drink this week. Yes, I am on another training and… hotel tea is even worse than last time and I have no intention to try it during breakfast time.
During the training, there is no kettle this time, but hot water dispenser (oh well); and two boxes of tea. One, some fruit tea — read: hibiscus with aromas; and this.

Actually it’s not bad when you hit the steeping time correctly. They recommend 3-5 minutes, but for cups we have available, I found out that two minutes are sufficient.

It’s pretty straightforward with tingling bergamot flavour, which is overpowering tea itself. A hint of cream could smooth it a bit I suppose, but alas, not available as well.

Considering it’s bagged, grocery store basic price level tea, it’s not bad. I had worse EGs which were more expensive. So, in conclusion… it’s fine. Nothing I would look for as a daily-drinker, but when there is nothing else available, moreso with caffeine, it’s fine. If someone offers me this as only tea with caffeine, I would accept.

Caffeine excuses many faults. :)

Bet you’re counting the hours till you can have your first cup of at-home tea!

I guess I travel so much there is always both caf and herbal tea in my bag. I shudder to think of drinking EG, I might drink gasp coffee before that for caffeine sake. Hope that first cup at home is yummy.

Leafhopper you are totally right. I was drinking coffee (well, rather milk with hints of coffee) during my breakfast; but some caffeine intake was needed during the day as well.
gmathis — not really counting the hours but days indded. My first cup of at-home tea was Lahu Forest Oolong and it was wonderful. I reckon mostly because something else.
Michelle, honestly I have no idea why I haven’t brought any tea. I knew there is nothing much available during training (I have been there for two days before). Maybe I would need some tea bags for it convience and I was too lazy to find some.
