If you appreciate the taste of aromatic wild berries, you will definitely enjoy our Green Honeybush Witch’s forest tea.
The tea blend contains not only red strawberry pieces, green raspberry leaves, dark blue elderberries, but also blackcurrants – everything that grows in an enchanted witch’s forest.

The tea made from the honeybush goes very well with these many full-bodied and extremely fruity moments of enjoyment, because it is characterized by a delicious sweet taste. White apple pieces also provide a hint of acidity. A little aroma teases out a little more flavor from all the ingredients – and thus more enjoyment for tea lovers.

The Green Honeybush Witch’s forest tea is an excellent accompaniment to an exciting book – but it doesn’t necessarily have to be the story of Hansel and Gretel in the witch’s forest.

2025 sipdown no. 14

I made this both hot and cold steeped. I always managed to enjoy the hot version without making any notes. Alas, I do remember it was very tasty and easy to drink. The last cup, cold steeped, was absolutely delightful. The juiciness is apparent even in the scent, and the taste does not disappoint. The taste is just as sweet and juicy with flavours of blackcurrant, strawberry, and elderberries coming across. The base is great too, not adding any real flavour of its own, but supporting the fruits. Thank you Martin for such a great tea!

I bought this tea mostly because I was thinking it is with green rooibos. But later I found out it’s green honeybush, which seems even rarer to me? Also it smelled good and good caffeine-free alternatives are important to have too.

It seems it is sourced from some wholesaler as I found a few tea rooms offering same named tea with same ingredients, but as I don’t know German wholesalers I just don’t care too much.

To the tea. Well, I used 5g / 500 ml ratio; steeped for 5 minutes as suggested and well it is indeed a delicious tea. Refreshing, with blackcurrant and elderberries present and with sweetness of strawberries. I could enjoy a little bit more of blackcurrant, but maybe it would be a bit chalky then; but green honeybush is great base as green rooibos. Smooth and fullbodied, yet without caffeine.

Edit: Song pairing: Self-made playlist of Bruce Springsteen songs I heard on the concert roughly year ago.
