A soothing jasmine bouquet accompanying an intricate Chinese oolong tea. Wonderful for after a meal or in the evening, although this tea does contain some caffeine. Oolong tea is also known as Wu-long tea.

How to Prepare
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 195-200 degrees and steep for 3-4 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.

20 years ago, I used to drink quite a bit of loose leaf tea I purchased from a long closed tea shop in New Orleans. This jasmine tea brings me back to the those days. It is like bumping into a favorite old friend on the street. Having said that, and not to talk negatively about that old friend, it seems a bit unsophisticated. I suspect there are much finer examples of Jasmine Oolong available. I think I would prefer less Jasmine. Still, it is a fine addition to my month old tea stash.

This is my favorite single tea from Teavana. The aroma of the Jasmine Oolong has an earthiness to it, but among the undertone of the tea, you easily find a pleasant sweetness. This undertone is what is represented in your cup along with a touch of smokiness that this top quality Oolong offers. I love this one before bed time or anytime I’m stressed.

I have to agree with a couple of the other here. While my wife enjoys this tea, I find it barely drinkable. I have made this tea about 10 times and have played with infusion times and the amount of tea used. Despite my efforts the tea always comes out the same….overly bitter and WAY to perfumey for my tastes. I have tasted much better Jasmine teas.

Hi! If you haven’t adjusted the temperature of the water you’re using, I find that makes a huge difference with floral and fruity teas! I would try heating the water to a lower temperature and steeping it a shorter time! I hope that works, good luck!

I really enjoy how strong this tea is. it can be steeped 3-4 times and still taste amazing. Jasmine is my all-time favourite smell!
