From TeaSpring

Jun Shan Huang Mao Jian is a new comer to the tea market, having only been made available in China tea market in 2010. The tea was introduced by Jun Shan Yin Zhen Tea Company after a senior government official directed the company to make good quality Yellow teas more available and affordable to consumers. Jun Shan Huang Mao Jian is a cheaper alternative to Cha Wang Jun Shan Yin Zhen, one of our most expensive teas. It is made using the same processing technique, but using one-bud-two-leaves tea leaves (Cha Wang Jun Shan Yin Zhen is made purely from buds only) that were picked in middle of spring season during the Qing Ming festival.
Other names:
Mount Jun Yellow Fur Tip

Taste:
The dried tea leaves have a sweet fragrance. The taste is floral sweet and the aftertaste is lasting after a few sips. This tea is quite strong so we suggest to start with lesser tea leaves.

Appearance:
One-bud two-leaves. The leaf part is darkish yellow with white downs. The infusion is light and almost colorless at first, but subsequent infusions will be yellowish.

Origin:
Jun Shan, Hunan Province

Harvest Period:
Spring 2010
