The dry tea leaves have a sort of sweet grassy smell.
The first infusion was pretty sweet and refreshing; the second was a little weaker. I tried hotter water for the third infusion, perhaps a bit too hot, as there was a slight bitter taste to the tea.
Regardless, I’m pretty happy with this tea, although not surprisingly, it doesn’t do so well at cutting through the sugar from cookies.
