White Peony is a wonderful mix of young leaves and buds. The flavour is fruitier than other white teas which makes it a perfect match for peach and apricot flavours. This tea has a soft and sweet fruity taste. We recommend this tea for those new white teas. A wonderful drink for cold winter nights or try it iced on a hot summer day.

Received a small amount of this as a sample. Seems as though it is from the bottom of the bag as there are lots of broken leaves and dust. High marks for the scent and flavour though, I love stone fruits and this smells exactly like a mix between real peaches and fuzzy peach candies, perhaps with a slight caramel undertone too! So far haven’t had a white tea that I don’t like from this company. Looking forward to diving into the teas I actually ordered over the next few days. Hope anyone reading this stays safe and healthy throughout the holidays and beyond!

Very light peach flavor, deeper peach & apricot scent. The flavor reminds me of peaches that aren’t really ripe. Not fully peach flavored but the idea of peach is there. :)
Overall it’s not a bad cup but nothing I have to keep around after it’s gone. Might try overleafing next time.

This has quite a strong peach apricot flavour to it, but it’s more of a dried fruit than fresh fruit taste. I think with a white tea, a fresh, juicy flavour tends to be a better match for me. There’s a faint hint of bitterness, and a slight astringency to this cup. I think 2 minutes may have been a touch too long for this tea. The base tea has a hint of vegetal, but not a lot of distinct flavour of its own that shows up past the flavouring.

This is alright but nothing terrible special. Very drinkable, but not really memorable.
