From T2

Black tea with sweet fruits, rose, sunflower and hibiscus, with a touch of bergamot to finish.

Earl Grey gets a French twist which is oh-so-fruity. A medium-bodied black tea base with pretty petals and notes of fruit that play with classic bergamot in an inspiring, bold and refined infusion.

• Sweet fruits, rose, sunflower and hibiscus, with a touch of bergamot to finish and leave you feeling a little fancy.
• This tea is sealed fresh inside a compostable plastic bag packed into a colourful recyclable cardboard box. Store in a cool, dry place.
• Sip as an afternoon tea pick-me-up or perfect as your morning tea ritual, this flavoured tea hit is perfect as a hot tea or a relaxing iced tea.
• Brew for 2-3 minutes using freshly boiled water. Best drunk without milk due to the delicate floral flavours and light black tea base. A little slice of lemon will add a zesty finish and complement the heady, floral aroma.
• From fruits to spices, tea leaves to herb bushes, 100% of our tea is sustainably sourced.

Ingredients: Black tea, hibiscus, natural and artificial bergamot flavouring (2%), rose petals, sunflower petals, natural and artificial flavouring, mallow flowers

Ahh the T2 French Earl Grey… This was the tea that made me overcome my suspicion of T2’s fancy stores and packaging to actually try the tea.

The French Earl Grey is nice. It isn’t a conventional Earl Grey as the bergamot is nestled amongst the fruity floral flavours. This is another T2 tea that I’d really like to taste sans the ambiguous ‘flavour’ mentioned in the ingredients list. Sometimes I find floral flavoured teas all taste a little bit the same but this one stands out to me. It is nice.

I find this to be a decadent tea, definitely a dessert on its own! Sweet and floral, possibly a bit too floral if you only like a hint.

I like black tea with milk, the package recommended on its own but I added milk anyway…
Seeing as I normally hate floral or fruity tea I really enjoy this one, not only does it smell great buts it tastes amazing an has a really nice after taste.
Probably appropriate for afternoon tea as I prefer an English or Melbourne breakfast tea for breakfast but still, I really love it! :)

This is a nice, dependable Earl Grey rendition – a good one to have on hand for visitors and best accompanied by some baked goods (scones, I’d say). The fruit and floral elements are balanced well in the taste, but maybe a tad overpowering in the aroma.

A beautiful, medium/light fruity Earl Grey with hints of peach and citrus. The sunflower blossoms and rose petals complement the mallow flowers perfectly, producing an incredibly delicate and delicious tea. It’s my current favourite.
