From Rosali Tea

San Bei Xiang is a slender leaved sophisticated tea with lots of complexity. It is known as three cups as the flavor layers reveal itself with each steeping.

I received this tea in my monthly Rosali Tea box and was intrigued by the flavor notes that were described: melon, artichoke, and seaweed. To my surprise, with each steeping (the description said you’re supposed to steep it 3 times) each flavor note was present and I was surprised at how complex and different each cup tasted!

This is not a green tea for casual use— it is a tea that is meant to be slowly savored and enjoyed. I think it would be a waste to chug this down while you’re working or something; it’s a great slow Saturday morning tea.
