From Rishi Tea

Moonlight White (Yue Guang Bai) has a unique flavor and infusion unlike any other white tea with flavors of ripe melon and sweet honeysuckle flowers. Harvested in small batches each spring. Moonlight White is a rare type of white tea made with two leaves and a bud from Yunnan’s Da Yeh tea tree varietal.

Very good tea! It has a mouthfeel that is almost juicy, like a fresh nectarine. The aroma is part peach orchard and part coniferous forests. The taste is similar to the aroma, but a little bit more on the fresh, woodsy pine forest side, though the peach element is still very present. Anyways, great tea!

Moonlight White is a good alternative to silver needles if you want something different but dont want to resort to peony shwag.

It is very heterogenous and interesting looking tea, with a nice honey colored liquor

The leaves look like something you would rake off your lawn. I mean that in the most positive way possible.

Given a sample by a friend, this one rated very comparably to a Bai Mu Dan from my local chinatown teashop, Wing Hop Fung. Nice stuff.

Light and fragrant. This is a pretty mellow white tea.
