From Plum Deluxe

“Originally featured in our tea club a couple of years ago, our signature watermelon mint iced tea has quickly become a staff favorite for a summer thirst quencher. A simple blend of fruit pieces and mint, it is packed with delicious and refreshing flavor. As with most watermelon tea blends, we recommend cold brew for this blend – just overnight in cold water. The finished tea is also excellent as a mix-in for sangria, Italian soda, or cocktails.”

Melon and mint are some of my favorite flavors, so this one seemed like a definite winner. I’m drinking it cold, and I have to say that mint is the primary flavor and there’s something in the background that could be watermelon, but is really just lightly fruity. It’s tasty, but I wish the melon were a little stronger. It is pretty delicious though. Don’t skip the resteep on this one; it’s even mintier, but decent too.

Refreshing and light fruit mint tea. Tried brewed hot and then poured on ice, as well as cold brewed. The cold brewed brought out the melon that was almost hidden in the hot brew; the mint was stronger in the hot brew. A lovely summer choice.
