Subscription box tea! I’m not sure about this one, it certainly tastes like vanilla cake, but it’s a fake flavor that my tastebuds think is just ok. It might be suffering from a comparison to my favorite vanilla tea from San Fran herb. I will say that adding a scoop of collagen made this creamy, but I don’t normally drink my tea with add ins, so I don’t think this is a keeper in my cupboard.

I was just reading up on this one yesterday and wondered if it was too globby.

I remember really enjoying this one, but the cup I made was more rooibos-y than I remembered…

Gmathis, it is a bit clumpy, but not too bad. I can send you a cup if you’re interested.

Sipdown! (9 | 86)

A lingering mini tin from the spring subscription box.

I remembered enjoying this more previously, I’m not sure if it’s the particular mix in this tin, but it’s more rooibos-y than I recall, and I can’t taste the vanilla cake as much. Also the bee pollen is adding a hint of wet dog, which isn’t ideal ha ha.

I have a full tin of this in my cupboard, maybe I’ll have to make a cup from that one and see if I feel the same way about it. Leaving my previous rating for now.

Oh dear, If I’m going to have some “hair of the dog" in the morning, it better follow a wild night of carousing, rather than as a surprise in my teacup!
