From Nabo

We could have sat with our noses in this tea bag all day long, the smell is magical. Acidic, fruity and full-bodied. Just as the name suggests, this organic tea tastes of coconut, lemon and has a nice sweetness of dried fruit. The ingredient list also includes apple, raisins and white hibiscus, you heard, this is an herbal tea that absolutely must be tasted!

List of ingredients: Apple pieces*, raisins*, coconut flakes*, white hibiscus*, roasted chicory root*, lemon peel*, natural coconut flavor, cocoa peel*, natural lemon flavor, cornflower*. *From controlled organic cultivation.

Nabo Advent Calendar 2022 – Day 7

This has the most unappealing name to me, ha ha… It makes me think of rancid coconut. XD

Honestly, I’m not getting much coconut at all. It mostly tastes like tart apple and lemon. In fact, I’m not sure I would know there was coconut at all if it wasn’t in the name. It’s quite tart, not sure how white hibiscus tastes compared to red, or if it’s contributing much sourness here.

It’s fine but not something I would buy, not being a big fan of tart fruit tisanes.

My brain went there too haha.

Leafhopper

Yeah, the name isn’t very appealing.

Lupiressmoon

Ugh I agree on the name. I hate sourness in tea , and coconut in tea, so none of that works for me name-wise due to that either

I was curious about this tea right after reading note from Courtney two months ago. But I hesitated to making an order of tea and decided for Advent Calendar only.

And today it is in the Advent so I can try it before ordering. Now I feel I need a pouch/box/tin/whatever of it. It is so smooth, lovely, and fruit. Don’t be scared of the aroma. That is way stronger than flavour. Flavour is weaker, but still pretty strong with nice coconut note.

Definitelly recommend!

I couldn’t pass this up because of how unique it sounded. I loved the idea of mixing coconut with citrus to make it ‘sour’. The steeped scent is very sour lemon-y with hints of coconut peeking through. The overall flavour is mostly a softened lemon, mellowed out by coconut.

The name grosses me out ha ha, but I do think coconut and lemon can be nice together!

Courtney

Hahah I initially thought that and scrolled past, then did a reversal and I’m quite happy I did!

Interesting blend for sure!
