From Murchie's Tea & Coffee

Discontinued

Murchie’s Peach Tea – enjoy the Okanagan summer wherever you are with this smooth blend of Ceylon and Keemun teas with sweet, succulent peach flavouring.

Murchie’s Peach Tea was first blended in 2009 to celebrate the Centennial of the founding of Peachland BC in 1909, a small, vibrant community located on the shores of Okanagan Lake in the Central Okanagan Valley region known for it’s bountiful fruit orchards.

A blend of Ceylon and Keemun black teas, with safflower petals and elder flowers and peach flavouring, this tea smells just like fresh peaches!

Try it iced with a fresh peach slice…sublime.

Discontinued.

This one is pretty delicious as a hot tea latte. I definitely get some peach flavor along with the black tea. Another new tea sample I got to try in my surprise tea swap.

Finally figure out exactly what to do with this tea – it’s ideal for a tea latte. Probably 1-2 tsp white sugar and about 1/4 cup of milk (I made it with 1% and it was perfect). Filled my cup about 3/4 full of boiling water, let steep for 5 min, then added sugar to taste and the milk (which I’d frothed with my mom’s little electric whisk). Ideal <3

Still disappointed that I can’t seem to enjoy this clear, because I do enjoy black tea. The good thing is that you can resteep the same leaves and get just as much flavour the second time around.

Note: Not sure if my measurement of tea is right – I use one DavidsTEA “Perfect spoon” full
