From Indigo Tea Company

Fancy rolled leaf tea from Sri Lanka, with a rich flavor that’s nice on its own or with a dash of milk.

i have a hard time with a lot of ceylons. This one falls in to that category. For me this is a bitter, astringent cup of meh. :( it’s not a BAD cup of tea, just not one for me!

Haha. The tea tasting we went to on Sunday led with a Ceylon. Then Assam, then Chinese blacks. My tongue was SO UNHAPPY.

mmmm :) This is always a classic. This particular brand of Ceylon has a very smooth flavor. The taste is still somewhat bold but quieted down. I love the aroma of the steeped leaves! They Have an uncanny wet forest smell, which I just enjoy so much! The liquor is a deep dark red and still has a slightly smoked flavor. This will always be a great everyday black. I like how this company keeps this going. :)

This is a very light, smooth black tea. I could see myself enjoying it black as an afternoon tea. However, at breakfast, I prefer something a bit more robust.
