Geek + Tea Advent Teas – Day 2
As a self-proclaimed Ravenclaw, I was pretty excited to pull this one out of the box. As someone who does not love white teas, my excitement dissipated a bit. Then a little more when I realized the white tea used was bai mu dan, which is my least favorite. With that said, as far as bai mu dan teas go, this isn’t bad. The blueberry flavor is awesome and balances well with the white tea so overall the tea is good. Alas, not one I would reach for often because at the end of the day it’s still a white tea and I tend to overlook those.
Adventaggedon Day 4 – Tea 6/6
Y’know how I know I’m definitely not a Ravenclaw!? I opened up this tea in my advent this morning and then say on my bed for a solid minute trying to figure out how this related to Harry Potter before it finally clicked.
Once I got it, I loved it though! This feels like a fun approach to a Ravenclaw blend – you’ve got the house colours captured perfectly and the flavour was just delightful. Light bodied, soft white tea with gentle, sweet and fresh blueberry notes – it’s flavourful, while still being delicate. I’ve tried a handful of different Ravenclaw blends now, and this is probably my favourite so far – just an honestly nice cuppa. Plus, the little pops of purple from the heather was so cute!
Can’t wait to see their interpretation of a Hufflepuff blend!

I identify with Hufflepuff, but I’ve done the Pottermore test four times now and 1/2 the time I type as a Hufflepuff and half the time as a Slytherin XD
Everything thinks I must be Ravenclaw just because I’m a librarian, but I’m actually a Slytherin, heh.
Now all we need is a Gryffindor! ;)

I’ve done the Pottermore test twice and am a Ravenclaw, but Lexa is a Gryffindor. :)
