A spicy take on a traditional Argentinean brew. This fusion of yerba mate, and freshly ground whole cardamom, cinnamon sticks, star anise and ginger bits create a delicious and warming cup. Great iced or with sweetener and a touch of soy milk.

Very nice. The spices are strong but not really spicy. Just very warm and cozy. The Yerba Maté is balanced well with the spices, and I can taste the earthy, vegetative quality of the Maté. I’m not always a big fan of that earthy quality, but, with the earthiness of the spices, the two seem to work together very well. I like the strength of the anise here, it gives a really nice licorice-y taste that lingers in the aftertaste. I do love licorice!
I really wanted this one to be better than it was. I am a huge chai fan, so I was excited to try this. It smelled pretty good in the package, but then was so-so in the cup. Seemed like there was too much anise in the mix, for my taste anyway. The rest of the spices were good, i would just like to taste them more.
